What is the Mission of the Program?
The Mission of the Home Smart Employee Benefit
Program is to offer organized access to information, education and
complete services consumers need in order to make wise and informed
decisions about refinancing or purchasing a home or investment
property.
What is the need for employees?
Over the last five years, the real estate market has
created an environment where home-related financial concerns and
opportunities are foremost in our employee’s minds. These important issues
have created a need for organized, accurate, timely information as well as
education of the mortgage process.
How Do Employees Benefit?
This program increases the short term and long term
financial wellness of employees by promoting sound investment principles
and by providing accurate and reliable information and resources.
What will the Program cost my
Company?
The Benefit Program reaches
all employees and is available at no cost to the employer or the
employee.
Is this a marketing program?
No. This is a bona fide, comprehensive education and
consumer assistance program for employees desiring education and
assistance with their mortgage and real estate needs. There is
no-obligation or pressure for employees to use the loan services of Home
Smart Benefit. Adherence to these standards by Home Smart is what ensures
the continuation of the program within the employer.
How long has the program been in
existence?
The program is in its
third year after a year-long pilot project with a major employer.
What is the enrollment period?
Home Smart Employee Program does not offer an
enrollment period for companies or employees. Once the program is part of
the benefit package, there are no time lines for accessing the
benefits.
How is Home Smart held accountable for the benefit
services?
Home Smart Benefit is a
DBA of Diablo Funding Group Incorporated, a licensed real estate broker by
the California Department of Real Estate number 01183856. According to the
San Francisco Business Times, Diablo Funding Group is the largest
residential mortgage company in Northern California. Diablo Funding
adheres to strict quality standards with regard to the loan process. In
addition, all employee information is held confidential and no
solicitation takes place in accordance with the Home Smart Employee
Agreement.
Who pays for the cost of the
benefit services?
All employee
benefit services are subsidized by the Home Smart Benefit program and its
affiliated professionals.
